Health certificates are very important for determining the quality of the puppy. All-breed registrations do not give such a guarantee. AKC and CKC registrations prove that the puppy is a purebred dog. However, these all-breed registries cannot check the quality of each litter born. Health certificates seem to be the only insurance against health problems in Rottweilers.

To determine what type of conditions the puppies have been raised under, visit a breeder home. The kennel should be clean. In no way should it be overcrowded since in this case it is very hard to keep the place safe and sound. Also, you may want to see the parent dogs. The dam should be always available. If you cannot see the sire, ask for pictures of videos. Keep in mind that responsible breeders will not sell their Rottweilers until the age of 2 months.

Rottweilers Pictures - Rottweilers were developed by crossing native dogs with the herding dogs that accompanied the Roman legions in the German town of Rottweil. Known as a butcher's dog, it's master and property, the Rottweiler was used for herding and guarding the cattle. The Rottwieler was officially recognized in 1910 as a police dog in Germany. Rottweilers Puppy - Rottweilers are the dogs that have a long history. There are many speculations concerning the origin of the breed. Several theories exist as far as the origin of the breed is concerned.
